Meet the Team – Sarah Kelleher

How did you first come across Shirtforce?

I first came across Shirtforce in 2021 when I was looking for prizes for a team away day with my company! They went down incredibly well and I still have my Troublemaker hoodie from that day.

What’s your favourite Shirtforce design?

It’s got to be the classic Troublemaker. Quintessential Shirtforce! But I also really love the Women in Tech design series. The Salesforce WiT community is so strong and passionate. A group of women coming together to create designs to proudly share their love of tech is badass.

What would be your ideal conference swag?

Ideal conference swag for me has to be a battery pack. My phone is always out of battery at events and I’m forever scrounging a cable off someone more prepared 😂

What key part of Shirtforce excites/inspires you the most?

The thing about Shirtforce that excites me is how a powerful sense of belonging can be turned into doing good in the world. The generosity of spirit and genuine will to help others is so clear throughout what this organisation does, and I am really pleased to be a part of that.

Have you got a key memory from a Salesforce community event?

Oof this is a tough one. I think it has to be my first London’s Calling in 2019 where I proper fangirled watching Jess Pyne and Andrea Tarrell present – both absolute legends! I’ve been back for every edition since.

Outside of Shirtforce and the Salesforce community, what keeps you busy?

Managing the logistics of being a working mum keeps me very busy! But I also love playing netball in a local team – I play GD and what I lack in height, I make up for in enthusiasm.

What would you rather see in an org, Person Accounts or free-use of Multiselect Picklists?

Person Accounts. As a Pardot veteran, multi-selects are just never fun. No thanks.

Which community event would you most like to get to this year?

Obviously London’s Calling. My home event and it really is such a cracking day. I’m also really looking forward to Polish Dreamin’ this month. I’ve never been to Poland and I’ve heard brilliant things about the community there!

What one tip would you give to your past self, when it comes to the Salesforce ecosystem?

Don’t be afraid to fly solo at events! I was part of the Marketing Cloud community for years and when I first ventured into the broader events, it felt like everyone knew everyone already and I was a proper outsider. Going to Dreamforce and French Touch Dreamin on my own really forced me to connect with people outside of my regular community, because I didn’t have the safety net of a familiar group. I just wish I’d been brave enough to do it sooner!

If you were a loaf of bread, what would you be?

French baguette. Little bit crunchy, but always soft on the inside ❤️ And best enjoyed warm – I am not a winter person 😅
